gooseneck tuning lever Gooseneck levers. Call it a tuning lever or a tuning hammer, this is your basic lay person's tuning tool. The standard model comes with a fixed neck No.2 star tip, wooden handle, and a nickel plated shaft (12" overall length) and will fit any modern acoustic piano. These are a higher quality and stiffer lever than those often found at music stores. Recommended for occasional tuning. $38.00.

RE: SHAPE OF TUNING PINS. Gooseneck levers are also available with a square or oblong tip, used on some very rare old European and antique pianos. If you need one of these specialty tips, tell me in the "comment" space on the PayPal form. I know that tuning pins often appear square on first glance, but are actually tapered (with flat sides) on most pianos and require the standard No. 2 star tip. Before ordering, check this picture of a **standard tuning pin to compare with your piano.
